Lisa Patrikeevna
Yesterday , while thinking about writing a post, I also thought about why the fox is Patrikeevna. It turned out that this is very interesting and has nothing to do with any Patricks, but with the cunning Lithuanian princes, who greatly influenced Russian reality through their descendants. I won’t retell it - it’s all publicly available. And this is what my story is about. A decent layer of snow fell in the foothills and the ground was covered quite well.

The west and east of high officials punishes, but how are we?!
(Layman's replica) West: According to the media, the imprisonment of Silvio Berlusconi will be reduced from four years to one year in accordance with the Law on Amnesty in force in the country since 2006. The ban on the politician of government posts was extended up to five years. This is stated today in a statement by the Milan court. Imagine the ex-Prime Minister of Italy in a striped robe on the bunks?! And why will our respected politician and businessman be washed for?!

Trombone, glade, wheelchair
This story is almost eleven years old. After school, I managed to join the orchestra of the Military Medical Academy. Pupil. The pupil is a person of unknown status in military uniform. Boys of different ages (I knew one street child, he started trumpeting in kindergarten from the age of seven) become members of the orchestra, wash floors, play instruments, go to funerals, parades and other mandatory military events. If you are lucky with the orchestra, then at the same time they study music.

Shadow of Silence
Photo: Savina Ekaterina/PublicPost On Saturday in Ukraine there is a day of silence before the parliamentary elections - campaigning is prohibited, candidates are resting. The PublicPost correspondent attended rallies of the ruling party and the united opposition, listened to Ukrainian pop music, stood in line for free tea, and even attended debates in the last hours of the campaign.

"We have a chance to form a majority"
Photo: Reuters Chairman of the Council of the United Opposition Arseniy Yatsenyuk almost always speaks Ukrainian in public, even when speaking in the Russian-language program “Big Politics” by Yevgeny Kiselyov on the Inter channel. However, during a break between debates, he spoke with a PublicPost reporter in fluent Russian. — All the election campaigning that I managed to see here in Kyiv is in one way or another connected with the personality of Yulia Tymoshenko.

For Udaltsov...
On October 26 (Friday) at 12-00 in Voronezh, at the site of the Proletary cinema, several dozen people went out on single pickets in support of Sergei Udaltsov, as well as his associates Konstantin Lebedev and Leonid Razvozzhaev. Let me remind you that the Investigative Committee has opened a case of preparing mass riots. In this case, charges have been brought against two like-minded people of Udaltsov: Konstantin Lebedev and Leonid Razvozzhaev are under arrest by court decision.

The Novgorod region is expecting a new redistribution of property
The elections for governor of the Novgorod region have ended. In the absence of an alternative, S.G. was re-elected. Mitin. It would seem that everything should remain the same: the old governor, the same course, the same attitudes. And, perhaps, only illegitimacy would occasionally make itself felt in the statements of the opposition and in the irony of the people, in response to the “leader” television exercises that Mitin loves so much.

Double standards
http://www.facebook.com/federmesser/posts/401907156546022 This is where the Chulpan Khamatova Foundation asks for help in organizing a Hospice. It seems like a good thing, right? But where is Putin? Why doesn't he save his beloved Chulpan and her children? Why won't he give you some money to build a house? But for some reason they come to others for money. And they want broadcasts on Ekho Moskvy, Dozhd, and they should write about them in Novaya Gazeta.

How torture and will torture
After the story with Razvozhaev, many spoke about the torture of the opposition, as if this could be surprised by someone in our time. We observe the costs of fragmented, clip thinking formed by modern media. Some facts, reinforced by emotional comments, are massively presented to the layman, and so many are already ready to accept what is happening as a personal discovery. The security forces as tortured and torture will torture. This is Russia, cruel and iron.

Not without embarrassment: about the first meeting of the Constitutional Court
The opposition parliament, in fact, turned out to be completely different from the parliament: the Ksovites met in a cinema bar at the fashionable Red October, voted by show of hands, cursed at each other, and the way Navalny led the first meeting was a bit like school meetings. I guess this is all quite nice. But is it serious? It seems that the Constitutional Court is not the simplest story in the entire protest movement from the very beginning.

Russian march. Day of glory or day of shame?
As is known, the next mass action of the opposition was scheduled by the Organizing Committee only for the beginning of December. It is very strange that the Day of National Unity was ignored - November 4th, when the 400th anniversary of the liberation of Russia from Polish invaders will be celebrated throughout the country.
