The Human Rights Council will examine the sentence of Moscow student Alexandra Lotkova
Members of the Presidential Council for Human Rights will conduct an independent examination of the case of Moscow student Alexandra Lotkova, who was sentenced to three years in prison for shooting in the subway, according to her, in self-defense. “Experts from among the Council members, together with lawyers, are already studying the case materials. We expect that the conclusion will be ready within two days,” HRC member Kirill Kabanov told Interfax.
