The moment of truth has come for republican parliaments
On March 27, 2013, the Duma finally adopted amendments to the law on gubernatorial elections, allowing regions to decide for themselves: to elect or appoint. If direct elections are cancelled, the new procedure for appointing regional heads becomes so corrupt that all political strategists and election commissions are simply resting. It’s hard to imagine how much money will have to be given to local parliamentarians in order to get into the coveted top three contenders?!

Cognitive stop
Subjective review of Arseny Gonchukov’s film “The Final Stop” I consider it my duty to say in advance: the topics of rallies, the ideas of social-nationalists, life around football and the migration policy of our state are not within the scope of my interests. I don’t go to rallies, I don’t take part in the struggle for ideas, I don’t even play or watch football. But, despite all of the above, the film “The Final Stop” by the young Moscow director Arseny Gonchukov did not leave me indifferent.

Kaliningrad street art with Russian-Japanese bias
The Kaliningrad artist Mavi draws painted nesting dolls, divided children and decapitated theotokos with babies. She believes that at first glance at first glance social street art raises topical topics-from the question of religion to the problem of pedophilia. Mavi does not like to adhere to one style in the drawings - its technique combines the use of colorful Russian folk ornaments and restrained Japanese minimalism.
