The Russian State Duma today approved a law that limits the consumption and sale of beer. The document was finalized by the conciliation commission after it was rejected by the Federation Council. The law prohibits the retail sale and use of beer in children's, educational, medical organizations and in the adjacent territories, as well as in public places, including on streets, stadiums, in squares and parks. The law will enter into force 30 days after publication.

Over 9 years, the Red Cross and other organizations established the fate of almost 5 thousand missing. Most of them were dead. Almost 250 thousand people became victims of the war in Bosnia, about 1 million 800 thousand were left without shelter or were forced to flee their native places.
