US experts check reports about the death of Abu Musab Az-Zarkaui
US experts check reports that the leader of the Iraqi cell of Al-Qaeda Abu Musab Az-Zarkaui was among terrorists killed during a special operation in Mosul. On November 19, the American military blocked the house where the al-Qaeda militants were located. 11 American soldiers were injured in the shootout, eight militants were killed, the rest - to avoid captivity - blew themselves up. The representative of the White House called information about the death of Az-Zarkaui "unlikely."
