The rotation of Russian troops in South Ossetia is ending
The command of Russian peacekeepers in the area of the Georgian-Ossetian conflict reports the completion of the contingent rotation. According to the commander of Marat Kulammetov, today 500 military personnel of one battalion, whose service life has expired, are withdrawn from the conflict zone. Another battalion, already located in South Ossetia, enters their place. Earlier, Georgia demanded an immediate withdrawal of Russian troops both from South Ossetia and from Abkhazia.
