Car sales in Europe decreased in June by almost 8%
In June, there were 7.9% less cars in the European Union in June than in June 2007, and in general, for the first half of these sales, the volumes of these sales were reduced by 2.2%. Such data were presented by the European Association of automotive industry enterprises. The main reasons, according to the experts of the association, were high inflation and rising prices for automobile fuel. So, sales of new cars in Spain decreased in June by 31%, in Italy - by 20%, in the UK - by 6%.
