Russia, South Ossetia and Abkhazia signed allied agreements
In Moscow, the presidents of Russia, South Ossetia and Abkhazia have signed today treaties on friendship, cooperation and mutual assistance. Signatures under the documents were set by Dmitry Medvedev, Eduard Kokoita and Sergey Bagapsh. It was also planned to conclude additional agreements on interaction in various fields, including in the field of energy, transport and military cooperation. Russia recognized the independence of both republics on August 26.
