11 Russian -speaking schools will be liquidated in Riga
In Riga, deputies of the City Duma, in order to save money, closed 16 schools, 11 of which are Russian -speaking. According to the decision of the Riga parliamentarians, educational institutions will be liquidated over the next three years. As a result, about 400 teachers will be lost. The country is experiencing a difficult economic crisis. The Latvian government ordered all state institutions to significantly reduce their expenses.
