In New York, at the age of 72, the artist-caricatist and writer Vagrich Bakhchanyan died. Bakhchanyan was born in Kharkov, graduated from the local studio of decorative art. In 1965, he first participated in an unofficial exhibition. He was friends with the writers Yuri Miloslavsky and Eduard Savenko, to whom he came up with a pseudonym - Limonov. Since the mid-1960s, Bakhchanyan lived in Moscow, worked in the Literary Newspaper.
