A soldier who was in slavery in Dagestan was released from arrest
Private Andrei Popov, arrested on suspicion of desertion after returning from Dagestan, where he, according to him, was in slavery, was released from Dagestan in the Saratov region. As Interfax reports with reference to Popov’s lawyer - Yuri Mileshin, the soldier decided to transfer to one of the military units of Saratov, where he will serve - until the end of the preliminary investigation. Popov was abducted in Dagestan, where, as he said, he was illegally held since 2000 - in actual slavery.
