World leaders condole in connection with the death of the Coptic Patriarch
Tens of thousands of people say goodbye to Cairo with the head of the Coptic Orthodox Church, Schhenu III, who died on Saturday at the age of 88. At the Cathedral of St. Mark in the capital of Egypt, where the patriarch’s body is exhibited, tens of thousands of believers remains. On Tuesday, Shenud III, who wore the title of Patriarch of Alexandria and all of Africa, will be buried in the monastery in the Vadi-Podturn Valley, in the Christian literature known as the Skithian desert.
