In many cities of Russia, protests are held against joining the WTO
The Communist Party is conducting pickets, rallies and processions in many cities of Russia today in protest against the attachment of the country to the World Trade Organization (WTO). The shares are organized, in particular, in Krasnoyarsk, Irkutsk, Nizhny Novgorod. The most massive rally will take place in Moscow. The Communists believe that Russia's entry into the WTO will negatively affect the agrarian, industrial and other spheres, and, therefore, the economy of the country as a whole.
