Shakhters, striking in South Africa, urge their colleagues to continue the protest action
In the South African Republic, about 200 miners participated today in the procession on the platinum mine of Marikana, owned by Lonmin. They called on their colleagues not to go to work, continuing the strike. The protest rally of miners, requiring about three times to increase their salary, began on August 10. According to the leadership of Lonmin, today only six and a half percent of miners came to work - from the total number of a state of 28 thousand people.
