Donald Burd's fate and work
Despite the fact that he was born in Detroit, and not in the New Orleans, he, with an absolutely Anglo-American surname, two French, that is, Creole, like in Big Easy, the name: Tossain, that is, “all saints” and l'Uverture-“discovery”, “beginning”. Similar names are most often found in the countries of Francophony, in the former colonies, but in Detroit the father-producer gave his son a completely American name: Donaldson.
