Sunday Julia Tannenbaum
Julia Tannenbaum Julia Tannenbaum is a girl from an orphanage in Siberia, adopted by an American family from New York 10 years ago. The day when Tina Traaster and Rick Tannenbaum first saw her, began joylessly. The plane on which they flew to Novosibirsk hit the snow storm. The icy alien city seemed so gray and gloomy that they would take a color photo, it would still be black and white. Then there were long corridors, strange people in gray offices, incomprehensible speech and crazy cold.

Firing lists as a memory of the history of tyranny
On the anniversary of the death of Joseph Stalin, the Memorial International Society, together with the Russian State Archive of Socio-Political History and the Party, "Yabloko" timed the presentation of a new, supplemented publication of one of the most ominous documents of the Greater Terror. This is an electronic version of the Stalinsky shot lists. The first about these secret documents of 1937-1938 was reported by Nikita Khrushchev at the twentieth Congress of the CPSU.

March 5. Unread
The anniversary of the death of Joseph Stalin causes exactly the same sensations as any other memorable date, even mournful, even festive. Russia is a country of unread history; a country that did not make conclusions from the lessons of the past; A country in which the power in which never repented the people for the crimes and mistakes of the past. 60 years since the death of the dictator is an occasion to talk about it.

Richard Lobo - about Russian radio frequencies for radio freedom
Richard Lobo In November last year, the Russian Radio Liberty Service was forced to stop broadcasting on the middle waves, since in Russia the nature and order of licensing of etheric frequencies has changed. The combination of this order and the legal form in which the Radio Liberty/Free Europe Corporation currently exists was impossible. Now our programs can be listened to either on short waves or on the Internet.
