New records for Wall Street
On Thursday, July 11, bidding on the New York Stock Exchange ended with a significant increase in the main quotations. The Dow Jones index, the most important indicator of business activity in the United States, rose by 1.1 percent and amounted to 15,461 points, and the S&P 500 index, including 500 largest companies in the American market, reached 1675 points. These are a record high indicators for both indices in the entire history of trading.
