40 million bottles as the joy of exports
Georgia is capable of supplying half a bottle of wine for each able -bodied Russian per year exports of Georgian wine to the Russian market over the past seven months amounted to 20 million bottles. This is twice as much as predicted: deliveries from Georgia now make up almost 5.5% of all wine imports to Russia.
