The archives of Mitrokhin - a defector from the KGB are opened in Cambridge
In the picture: Vasily Mitrokhin In the UK, at the University of Cambridge, today, the wide public was presented with folders from the KGB archives, which secretly removed from Russia to the UK in 1992 a retired senior KGB officer Vasily Mitrokhin. Colonel Mitrokhin was the senior archivist of foreign intelligence of the KGB. For more than ten years, he secretly took files home, copied them by hand, and then collected them in special folders.
