Auschwitz in January 2015
On January 27, 2015, the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the largest death camp of Nazi Germany - Aushvitz -1, located on the territory of occupied Poland, near the city of Auschwitz, has turned 70 years old. The next day, January 28, 1945, the Soviet military liberated Aushvitz-2, also known as the Birkenau camp. The United Nations proclaimed on January 27 by the International Day of Remembrance of the Holocaust Victims.
