Filled 90 years since the birth of Julia Daniel The first pseudonym at the prose writer, translator and poet Julia Daniel was a cheerful, borrowed from the very basic folklore. For the non -certificate publication in the West, Daniel took the name of the character from thieves' songs, the hooligan of Nikolai Arzhak. Under his own name, the writer went down in the history of dissent of the Soviet era. In 1966, for four stories printed abroad, he was sentenced to five years in camps.
