Any agitation is prohibited before the elections to the State Duma, including the conduct of party actions and rallies, the distribution of leaflets and political advertising in the media. According to the Levada Center, more than half of the Russians are indifferent to the elections, about a third of the respondents do not know about the upcoming vote.
