The Kremlin Museum supported the decision to give Ukraine Scythian gold
The director of the Moscow Kremlin museums Elena Gagarina supported the court decision in Amsterdam to return the Scythian gold to Ukraine, taken from Crimea before the annexation of the peninsula by Russia. Gagarina noted that the museum fund is the property of the state, and not a single museum, so the court decision, in her opinion, is justified. The Scythian gold collection was taken to an exhibition at the Archaeological Museum in Amsterdam in early February 2014.
