Earthquake at the Iran-Iraqi border
According to official figures of the Iranian authorities, as a result of an earthquake on the border with Iraq, more than 400 people died and about 6,700 were injured, most in the province of Kermanshah. An earthquake by force 7.3 points on the Richter scale was felt from Turkey to Kuwait. The city-Polet-Zohab city was most affected, 15 kilometers from the Iraqi border. The Iraqi authorities seek 7 dead and 320 wounded.
