On January 30, 1948, in Delhi, three shots in the chest and in the stomach, the Indian radical journalist Nathuram Godz shot 78-year-old Mahatma Gandhi , the ideologist of Indian Independence, the Father of the Nation, as he was called in his homeland. In the twentieth century, the names of only a few statesmen became household names. I would call four names: Lenin, Hitler, Stalin and Gandhi.
