The former Russian ombudsman Oleg Mironov died
The former Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia Oleg Mironov died at the 82nd year of life, the current Ombudsman Tatyana Moskalkova said on Instagram. Mironov held this position from 1998 to 2004. Mironov was born in 1939 in Pyatigorsk, graduated from the Kursk Saratov Law Institute in 1963, then the graduate school of this institute in 1967, defended the degree of Doctor of Law.
