Bastrykin about shooting in Kazan: parents did not want to pay for security
The head of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, stated that the gymnasium in Kazan, where the shooting occurred on May 11, was not guarded, since their parents did not want to pay for security. “Parents had to give money for protection, they refused. There was no security, although the contract existed,” RIA Novosti quoted Bastrykin.
