"Build pies." How one phrase led to the death of dozens of people
On June 2, 1962, a peaceful demonstration of workers was shot in Novocherkassk, dozens of people were killed and wounded. By June 12, the KGB officers compiled a list of 150 workers - active protests. 53 people were immediately arrested, seven were waiting for execution. The Radio correspondent Freedom talked with those who survived and is still trying to understand why they shot at that "bloody Saturday".
