A complaint about Lavrov’s contacts with the Taliban prohibited in Russia is aimed at the CEC.
Human rights activist Marina Litvinovich, who put forward to the State Duma elections from the Yabloko party, filed a complaint with the CEC with a demand not to register the list of United Russia. The reason was named the presence in the federal part of the Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who, as noted in the complaint, is “known for its multiple interactions” with the Taliban terrorist and prohibited movement recognized in Russia.
