The soul of the Ukrainian people. The second life of the paintings of Maria Primachenko
In Riga, artists and amateurs create mosaics from Muranian smalt based on paintings by Ukrainian artist Maria Primachenko (1908–1997), whose house was destroyed by Russian troops on the second day of the war. This charity project is called an "open workshop". Its initiator, mosaic artist and head of the Mosaic Art Studio in Riga studio Vadim Vernik hopes thus "at least a little praise" a wound in the soul of the Ukrainian people, inflicted by the Russian rocket.
