"Good where we are." Migrants about their life in Georgia
According to the Minister of Economics of Georgia, Levan Davitashvili, at the end of 2022, about 60 thousand Russians remain in Georgia. Most came during two large waves of emigration: in February-March, after the outbreak of war in Ukraine , and in late September-early October, after the announcement of mobilization in Russia . The number of Belarusians and Ukrainians who moved to the country is significantly less, but is also calculated in thousands and tens of thousands.
