Vyacheslav Gladkov The governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, resigned of his own free will. Interfax reports this. Alexander Shuvaev, a participant in the war with Ukraine and the current deputy governor of the Irkutsk region, was appointed acting head of the region. The governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, also resigned with a similar wording. He will be temporarily replaced by Yegor Kovalchuk, the former head of government of the self-proclaimed “LPR”.
