In total, he has been in custody for more than eight months, and his condition has deteriorated greatly. Human rights activist Roza Dunaeva recalled Gatagazhev’s situation. According to her, court decisions actually eliminated the grounds for further detention of a native of Ingushetia as part of the extradition procedure.
