The World Court of the Meshchansky District of Moscow found Telegram Messenger LLP guilty of an administrative offense for refusing to issue “encryption keys” of the FSB. The justice of the Meshchansky district of Moscow, Julia Danilchik, fined the Telegram messenger for 800 thousand rubles for refusing to provide the FSB keys to decode user correspondence. This decision was probably the first application of such an article in Russian history.

The reduction of the current threshold of one thousand dollars, according to the postal state operator, should occur in three stages - to €200 from 2019, to €100 from 2020 and to €50 from 2021. General Director of Russian Post Nikolai Podguzov sent a letter to Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich with a proposal to the government to hold negotiations within the EAEU to establish a new unified schedule for reducing the threshold for duty-free import of goods.
