Kyrgyz authorities want to take control of social networks
According to Kyrgyz deputies, it is necessary to introduce “some restrictions” on social networks, since they can “contribute to society and pose a threat to the state”. The bill on the regulation of Internet sites is being agreed upon by the country's departments, the deputy minister of justice Ravshan Abdullaev told at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh (Supreme Council of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan). In the near future, he must enter into consideration by the parliament.
