Dark Caracal: a new cyberspienage campaign that has covered thousands of devices around the world
Attackers managed to steal hundreds of gigabytes from devices from devices, which were installed by malicious software, disguised for applications-mixers. The Electronic Frontier Foundation, EFF Foundation, together with Lookout, which specializes in the safety of mobile devices, revealed a new cyberspilation campaign that has covered thousands of devices in more than twenty countries. Hundreds of gigabytes of data were stolen mainly from mobile devices on which spy applications were installed.
