Georgian businessman Badri Patarkatsishvili, whose name appeared in accusatory statements by ex-Minister of Defense of Georgia Irakli Okruashvili, has decided to resign as president of the National Olympic Committee of Georgia (NOC), RIA Novosti reports citing Novosti-Georgia agency. According to the agency, Patarkatsishvili announced his resignation in a letter to NOC members and International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Jacques Rogge.
