Thomas Hendrik Ilves: “Some people need a big enemy to raise their own status”
Last week, Estonian President Toomas Hendrik Ilves hosted a NATO ministerial meeting in Tallinn, at which, in particular, the prospect of creating a unified missile defense system with Russia was discussed. And on May 9, the Estonian leader is going to watch the parade on Red Square. In a conversation with Konstantin Eggert, President Ilves said that in order to reset relations with the Baltic states, Moscow only needs to stop justifying their occupation.
