Russian artist Varvara Shavrova lives in China, travels around the world, and opened her new exhibition “Borders” in the Rumyantsev mansion in St. Petersburg (in April it was already shown at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art , in a building on Ermolaevsky Lane). The impetus for its creation was maps of the Russian-Chinese border territories, drawn up by Americans at the end of the last century and bought by her on occasion in one of the London shops.
