Transformations worldliness
Today it is already obvious that religion has ceased to be a private matter of a person; it is returning again to politics, to public space. Many years of expectations of the privatization of religion, its transformation into a Sunday hobby like theater or football, did not materialize. The problem of “public religions” is increasingly coming to the fore. In this regard, Russia is by no means an exception; rather, it only confirms the global trend.

Secularity has totalitarian inclinations
In order to better deal with what is happening with religions and secularism today, RJ turned to John Milbank. The figure of Milbank in a certain sense is unique to the Western intellectual context: it is not only a recognized key social theoretician, but also an active player in our already become post -texular world. Professor Milbank is the founder and leader of an increasingly influential theological movement - “radical orthodoxy”.

Why does Primorye "make noise"? / Problem field / Home
The shares of December 14 and 21, it seems, for the first time since the time of the "freezing Vladivostok" brought the city to the first stripes of Internet taxi. However, federal channels completely ignored this event. With all the fact that officials have already spoke about the "pile of car dealers" fighting for the "criminal business", the atmosphere in the city is really hot.

Muslims as a "religious minority" in Europe
Muslims are both in secular Europe and in a very important sense in it. The problem of understanding the place of Islam in Europe is, first of all, the problem of how Europeans are comprehended by Europeans. Europe (and the state-nations of which it consists) is ideologically built so that Islamic migrants have no way to be satisfactorily represented in it. They are included and at the same time excluded from Europe.

"Secular society" no longer exists / world agenda / Home
"Russian Journal": Can we talk today about the exacerbation of the conflict between the "secularists" and "clericals"? What, in your opinion, is the basis of this confrontation? Alexander Kirlezhev: Exacerbation, indeed, takes place.

Ukraine in regional blocks
Yushchenko’s team generally ignores such an institution as the CIS, believing that it is absolutely formal, amorphous and has already outlived itself. The existence of Ukraine in this structure, in their opinion, makes no sense. As for Tymoshenko, she occupies a “floating” position. Depending on the political situation, Julia Vladimirovna evaluates in different ways the prospects of a particular integration project: that gouam, that the CIS, that the Unified Economic Space (EEP).

From the right to concepts to the concept of law
I saw information in the news feed: the chief sanitary doctor Onishchenko wants to forbid the Russians to smoke on the street. Well, I think things! Here it has turned cool. Tomorrow they will write the law, publish, and all of Russia will quit smoking on the streets, see, by pike command! We are poor in the country, in some ways very unhappy. And I was the same unhappy in the unfortunate country, I remember myself, I remember my past past. It was like that.
