Ernst Nolte - a German historian and philosopher, born in 1923 and managed to learn from Martin Heidegger himself, gained international recognition and universal fame thanks to the book “Fascism in his era”, in which he defended the idea of “generic fascism”. According to NOLT, fascism is not just one of the totalitarian regimes, but a special phenomenon, a reaction to technological progress and political changes.
