"Avatar": strategies of political correct ideology / World Agendal / Home
James Cameron’s “Avatar”, a demonstrative example of Marxism in Hollywood, tells of the paralyzed marine infantryman, who is sent from the ground to a distant planet with a mission to rub in confidence in the race of natives with blue skin in order for his employer to gain access to the natural resources of this planet. With the help of complex biological manipulations, the mind of the protagonist gains control over his “avatar”, the body of a young native.

Everything goes according to plan
Two years ago, February 19, Yegor Letov died. This world was left by a man without whom the history of Russian rock, a legend man, an icon for several generations of rebels and non-conformists is unthinkable. His death lifted the line under an entire era of a fierce and uncompromising confrontation of the system in all its manifestations, whether it be an agonizing socialism or glamorous capitalism.

There are no pedagogues
At the first meeting of the Public Council at the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, they discussed the issue of “how to teach teachers”. The question hung in the air, but does pedagogical universities need at all, if only 20% of their graduates (and then losers) go to school? It would seem that the problem has risen for a long time: with the school, which means with teachers, something needs to be done.

Terror dialectics and temptation
Review of: Norbert Fry. The state of the Fuhrer. National Socialists in power: Germany, 1933-1945. M.: Rosspen, 2009. 255 p. * * * You expect a classic study on the history of an entire era in a voluminous volume, with a huge number of dates, names, geographical names. Of the 255 pages of the book “Fuhrer’s state”, the text itself takes only 160: they are followed by documents, chronology, tables and bibliography.

Dzhugashvili / Local look / Home
The strangest thing for me in all Stalin-Vlasov scandals of recent times is that both topics are absolutely irrelevant today. There is no sense in them, except for the rehabilitation of both names and heating of commercial interest in the relevant literature. Therefore, personally, in all these polemics, I react not so much even to even attempts by the apology of the same Stalin as the very fact of the actualization of this topic, which I consider completely meaningless.
