Maxim Kononenko, a journalist, writer, author of the satirical novel “The Day of an Excellent Student,” dedicated to the Russian liberal opposition, spoke with Russian Journal about the Russian opposition, its state and prospects.

At different historical stages, any state, including Russia, faces new challenges and threats. Moreover, our country has always been distinguished by the high amplitude of these threats.
