Sangye Khadro. How to prepare for death and help the dying (part 3)
Part 1. Part 2. HELP FOR THE DYING Buddhist teachings say that helping another person die in a peaceful, calm state of mind is one of the greatest virtuous acts. This is because the moment of death is key to determining the next rebirth, which, in turn, will influence subsequent rebirths. However, helping a dying person is not an easy task. When people die, they experience many difficulties and changes, which naturally causes a restless state of mind as well as painful emotions.
