Imported cancer drugs have become unavailable in most regions of Russia
The antitumor drug etoposide cannot be purchased in 74 regions, and methotrescate in 51, Izvestia reports . Roszdravnadzor, in a commentary to RIA Novosti, denies the shortage. According to oncologist Irina Borova , complaints about the lack of drugs are coming from “Kaliningrad to Kamchatka.” Etoposide, according to Izvestia, can only be bought in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rostov, Sverdlovsk, Orenburg, Chelyabinsk regions, Krasnodar Territory, Tatarstan and Bashkortostan.
