Karelian Madagascar. The history of the dying village
In the village of Panozero in the north of Karelia, people are cut off from the world of the river: it shares the village and the road leading to civilization. In the offseason, the residents of the panozer move to the other side on thin ice, products, firewood and mail are carried on sledges. In summer, they are melted on boats or on a ferry. There is no connection in the village, and the only point of connection to the Internet is near the school.
