Basevich's house in St. Petersburg In St. Petersburg, activists are trying to save Basevich’s house on Bolshoi Pushkarskaya, 7, which they are going to demolish the sake of building a complex of buildings for the needs of the Boris Eifman Academic Ballet Theater and the Boris Eifman Dance Academy. Instead of a house in the Art Nouveau style with a rich decor of 1912, it is supposed to build modern sleeping and educational buildings for students and apartments for ballet dancers.
