Vladimir Putin ratified agreements on the annexation of the regions of Ukraine
Russian President Vladimir Putin ratified agreements on the annexation of four partially occupied regions of Ukraine: Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions. From this moment on, the Russian authorities will consider these territories their own. On the eve of the contracts were unanimously encouraged by the Federation Council. For annexed regions, a transition period is provided until January 1, 2026. Elections to the legislative authorities will be held there on September 10, 2023.
