A Russian woman accused of kidnapping her children was acquitted in the United States
An American court has officially stopped the criminal prosecution of Russian citizen Aziza Mirzoeva, who was accused of kidnapping her own children, ITAR-TASS reports. After a divorce from her American husband, the court left Mirzoeva’s children, but then, when she returned to her homeland, it changed its decision. Formally, the case was closed after Mirzoeva agreed to admit a “minor offense” - comparable in severity to speeding. As a result, the violator was sentenced to a fine of $200.
