The city of 200,000 Osh was left without drinking water
NEWS OF THE DAY. One of the largest cities in Kyrgyzstan, Osh, home to more than 230,000 people, was left without drinking water on Friday morning. The cause of the incident was heavy rains, which led to powerful mudflows, as a result of which a whole river of mud entered the Papan reservoir, from where drinking water is supplied to Osh. At the moment, it is unknown when drinking water will begin to flow into the homes of Osh residents again, since its pollution significantly exceeds the norm.
